Madurodam, the interactive miniature theme park in The Hague, The Netherlands, started the season with a positive number of 12.000 visitors.

In Madurodam visitors can learn about the major stories of The Netherlands and find out what makes Holland so special. Visitors discover the Highlights of Holland within one to three hours and learn more about the fascinating history and stories of The Netherlands by activating videos on more than 30 multimedia touch screens. The little inhabitants of Madurodam (the "Madurodammers') bring the stories to life and play an important role in telling the stories. Visitors will actually experience the stories themselves by participating in one of the 27 interactions in total.
