PortAventura World kicks off Easter with new activities and shows for the whole family

PortAventura World kicks off its Easter Celebration, a unique programme of Easter activities and shows that will last until 17th May. For almost two months, visitors will be able to enjoy unique theming throughout the resort and great new features, especially designed for families and, in particular, for the littles ones of the family.

These new features include a gastronomic experience at the Marco Polo restaurant, where visitors can enjoy a delicious Easter Family Brunch, accompanied by their favourite Sesame characters; exclusive shows such as the Sesame Street Easter Party at TeatroAventura, with Big Bird as the main character; the Easter Parade, which will fill the streets of Far West with the joy that characterises the Sesame characters; and the Easter Parade Meet & Greet, an encounter to interact with them.

Also of note is the exciting gymkhana 'Elmo's Eggspedition', which involves an Easter egg hunt in SésamoAventura, with participants being entered into a prize draw to win a stay at PortAventura World. Beyond SésamoAventura, in the Far West area, families can discover the new show West World Frenzy, in which two feared brothers, known throughout the West, try to get their hands on valuable loot; and in the Great Imperial Theatre of China, the show Dreams and the City, a story full of dance and music set in the busy city of New York.

Another new main feature this season is the opening of PortAventura Park half an hour earlier for guests of Hotel PortAventura and the Far West hotels (Hotel Gold River, Hotel Colorado Creek and Hotel La Mansión de Lucy) at 9:30 am. This will allow them to get on main attractions before the park opens to the general public at 10:00 am, helping to maximise their stay.

David García, general manager of PortAventura World, pointed out that "year after year we continue to get excited about transforming the resort to reflect the season in which we are welcoming our visitors. In addition to the new features that we are offering this Easter Celebration, we would like to highlight that our most beloved attractions will also be waiting for you. This is the case of Uncharted, which was inaugurated not many too months ago, but has already become a reference point in the resort".

This campaign is part of the park's 2024 season, which began on 9 February and will end on 6 January 2025. In total, the resort will be open for 307 days, making this the earliest and longest season in the company's history.
