PortAventura World kicks off summer with new drone show
This summer, the Mediterranean spirit comes alive at PortAventura World. In its 30th anniversary year, the resort welcomes a summer season that promises to be unforgettable: new experiences, thrills for all ages, revamped shows, and memorable nights, with extended opening hours until 11:30 p.m. All within a privileged location by the sea on the Costa Daurada, where adrenaline, relaxation, and entertainment are guaranteed, making every day a holiday to remember.
Caribe Aquatic Park, summer in its wildest form
With more than 50,000 m² of exotic vegetation, palm trees, artificial beaches, and wave pools, Caribe Aquatic Park becomes the resort’s ultimate summer retreat. Daring water slides, family-friendly zones, and tranquil corners combine to offer a timeless, carefree experience. Among its 16 attractions, King Khajuna stands out as one of Europe’s tallest free-fall slides, launching thrill-seekers from a 31-meter-high drop of pure adrenaline.
Adventure Multiplies in PortAventura Park. Six themed worlds transport visitors to fascinating places, with attractions that offer a refreshing break from the heat, such as ‘Tutuki Splash’, ‘Grand Canyon Rapids’ ‘Silver River Flume’ and ‘Angkor’ For adrenaline lovers, icons like ‘Shambhala’ ‘Dragon Khan’, and ‘Furius Baco’ are a must. This summer, the resort introduces a pioneering new experience: ‘El Diablo Neo’, the world’s first roller coaster featuring mixed reality. It reimagines the classic ‘El Diablo – Tren de la Mina’ into an immersive journey through Mexican mythology. Meanwhile, Ferrari Land offers families and motorsport fans thrilling experiences inspired by the famed Italian racing team, with headline rides like ‘Red Force’, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe, as well as more relaxed options for all ages.
A 30th anniversary that reaches for the sky
Starting June 21, summer nights will reach new heights with the debut of the updated version of ‘FiestAventura 30th Anniversary’. The resort’s most iconic night show will feature more than 300 drones this year, lighting up the sky above Mediterrània with luminous choreography in tribute to the resort’s 30-year history. A spectacular end to the day that fuses music, fire, water, and cutting-edge technology into a one-of-a-kind visual experience.

Quality hotel offering for a summer full of fun
PortAventura World features six themed hotels, such as Hotel Gold River, inspired by the Wild West, and Hotel PortAventura, evoking a Mexican hacienda. For families wishing to combine beach holidays with theme park excitement, Ponient Hotels by PortAventura World offers four hotels with flexible stays in Salou and Vila-seca, including transportation to the parks, now with the addition of the new Ponient Marinada. Each of the ten hotels is equipped with large pools, perfect for cooling off this summer.
